I’m Suellen, originally from Honduras and now proudly based in Lafayette, Louisiana, for over 20 years.

My journey began when I moved to Lafayette as an international student, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture. After working in the field for several years, I chose to step away to focus on my growing family and embrace motherhood.
 

However, my passion for design and creativity never faded. As my children grew, I felt a renewed calling to pursue my dream—one that brings beauty, joy, and meaning to others. That’s how MyLaffyHouse was born.

Since childhood, I’ve found joy in making everyday moments beautiful. My love for hosting and creating unforgettable experiences has only deepened through my travels around the world. Exploring different cultures and design styles has enriched my signature approach—allowing me to blend global influences with my clients’ unique tastes to craft spaces and events that are truly one of a kind.

Now, I’m excited to share this passion with my community—helping bring their most meaningful events to life and transforming their spaces into something special.
